Gsl Vs The World Bracket What are the origins of the GSL-style format? Video[GSL vs. the World 2019] Ro.8 Match3 Serral vs Trap
Serral and Special at least could advance on their own merits. Still though, better to make sure we see at least one foreigner in at least the round of Makes for longer hyped viewership.
Am I crazy for thinking we could have a Mary vs Serral finals? Part of me is suuuuuuuper hyped, but part of me thinks Maru will just roll him over.
A close Maru vs Serral final would be unbelievably sick. Serral is strong but there's no way he beats Maru. Though, given how damn good Maru is lately, I feel like even just taking a game off the guy is a hell of an accomplishment.
Quit cherry picking data. Serral and Maru have faced each other in two tournaments this year. Serral won the first time , then lost in their next meeting.
You entirely missed the point. My point is that a single series is not enough data to base such a statement off.
Furthermore, I did not go into detail about either match, so it's not an unfair omission. Presumably he means ping, but in reality two matches is really not enough to say anything definitive.
Serral beat Maru in the IEM Europe qualifiers. Maru was playing with a massive ping disadvantage. I dont think your crazy, Serrals ZvZ is pretty outstanding so if he hits rogue then dark MAYBE he can make it but i wouldnt expect it by any means.
I dont think he has a chance vs inno if inno beats rogue or classic in the semis if he makes it past dark. It's a stretch but completely plausible.
Serral's a dog against Rogue, Innovation, and Dark, but it's not beyond comprehension that he'd get to the finals. When will this be broadcasted?
Can someone link me a schedule? I cant go to TL because Ill get spoiled on GSL. Ok so as an American who is going to have to watch these the next day what's my best spoiler free method?
I watch it at AfreecaTV Live. They upload the transmission like in Twitch but youtube player is better imo. Its one video only which I prefer too.
Neeb v Dark rematch will be interesting, as well Special vs Has of course. Pretty sure Serral will end up playing vs Rogue in the Ro8 which would be really sick.
And then honestly, probably playing against Dark in the Ro4 if he can beat Rogue. On the other side, feel like Maru vs Zest is reasonable, with Maru winning easily.
And I think Special will win lower left part of the bracket if he isn't stopped by Stats. I think there's a good chance Serral takes this.
Let's say Rogue wins Innovation. Serral has defeated Rogue already, he is great at ZvZ. Then Dark would be on semis.
A great challenge but it wouldn't take a miracle to defeat Dark. It's not that I don't think Serral can't win against terrans is that it's his worst match up.
It's a match up hard for any foreigner no matter their race. I hope we get to see a great tourney! Some are really underestimating foreign players.
I think that even though it will be a good challenge, Showtime definitely can defeat Zest. Then Neeb even though he got destroyed by Dark, his PvZ is pretty damn good.
I think it's pretty hard but Neeb has challenge the odds before. StarCraft 2 Brood War Blogs. News Featured News. StarCraft 2 General. TSL 6 Replay Pack TL.

USA National Park Highlights: …. However, I've long thought that the European Zergs were often at a good level against their Korean Zerg counterparts.
Still outmatched, but not as much as the rest of the foreigners. Neeb has struggled as of late against Protoss, but he could step it up against sOs, and sOs is arguably the weakest Korean in the lineup.
If Neeb can get it together vs Protoss, he can definitely win. I would never count out Scarlett against any Korean Terran. This doesn't mean that Scarlett will win or is favoured but that on any given day, I think there's decent chance of winning.
Again, Korean favoured, and it could be a stomp. But if Scarlett plays near flawlessly, I think TY could lose. So I think for the most part, a lot of the foreigners got pretty reasonably matchups.
Have you seen soo's ZvP results recently? He will make showtime look like a gold leaguer. Scarlett is overhyped for some reason and will lose big to TY.
Our only hope is Neeb vs sOs. I'm not saying that ShoWTimE or Scarlett will win, but I think they did try matchups in which they can perform well.
ShoWTime has experience against the top Zergs in Europe, and Scarlett can always put on a decent show against top Koreans Terrans somehow.
Looking at soO's offline vs P history on aligulac, his biggest result is a against Classic a month and a bit ago and a against sOs four or so months ago.
But aside from that, he's done alright against the top level P but not amazing. Page Talk Edit History Share Twitter Facebook Reddit Tencent QQ VK Weibo WhatsApp Other.

Green verification check mark guide and verified users list. Video GSL vs The World bracket has been drawn! Maru vs soo and rogue v innovation in round 1?
That feels like the final 4. Not a fan of the draw. A lot of gsl to gsl and world to world pairings. They can split the bracket to ensure a foreigner versus GSL finals but that's kind of dumb cuz you only get one match.
Or they could do Foreigner versus GSL all first-round matches but then the foreigners might get bounced early. Also, TIME has a shot to advance if soO is playing like he did at ASUS ROG.
Stats having an easy path if he beats Maru? He lost to Showtime yesterday, maybe it wouldn't be that easy. Classic is deceptively weakish in TvP but I think he should be strong enough to beat Fantasy.
I would say Dark , TIME , Maru , Showtime , Serral , Trap , Reynor , Classic Lets all hope Elazer gets destroyed same as Kelazhur last year.
Abusing the system should not reward the player. Sad for Heromarine, his TvP is not that good at the moment and even if he manages to win there will wait Serral for him.
I must be alone in thinking TY-Serral is anybody's game. They're both very highly skilled. Serral vs Ty hype as well, having pretty convincingly beat Inno now another top Korean Terran.
TIME is looking good at Assembly and soO is on a semi slump, but will be a stern test for the most exciting talent to come out of China and is on an upward trajectory.
I hate special privileges for foreigners excluding serral. If they intend to secure certain foreigner presence in the later stages, then Blizzard is just admitting foreigners are weaker than Koreans.
What they are selling does not align with what they are actually doing. What a joke. Stats is going to rekt Maru again. In terms of player strength the bracket looks pretty good, with the championship contenders spread across all 4 quarters.
And it also has a fair chance of producing a Korea vs World final, with Serral and Reynor on one side and most of the stronger Koreans on the other.
I think it's a nice bracket. On August 02 yyltyler wrote: I hate special privileges for foreigners excluding serral. Maru v Stats again?!
I'd be annoyed about what appears to be Elazer voting shenanigans if: 1 He wasn't higher in WCS standings than Scarlett 2 Scarlett didn't make it to the two previous events over more deserving players.
The moral of the story is Blizzard shouldn't be sponsoring popularity contests. What is the prizepool etc?
